Just a quick reminder that we our first 12 and under youth tournament of the season tomorrow. Foil at 10:00 am, sabre at 1:30 pm, epee at 3:30 pm. $5 per event. Trophies to the top 3 and ties, medals to the top 3 9 and unders who don’t win a trophy, and points to everyone toward winning a sword at the end of the season. In foil, I know Salle New Bern is sending down some people, the Wilmington Fencing Club may be sending people, so with our fencers there should be a good turn out.
Also, and more importantly for the old people, we will have Kathy Walters in to do an armoring clinic. This will be oriented to helping people fix their own weapons, body cords, etc. Cost is $10 per person. If you do not have broken weapons, body cords, etc. to work on the club will be happy to provide examples.
